Experience

I am a ex-police officer with a background in crime prevention and home security. It is absolutely understandable that people can be wary about leaving their home unoccupied for a period of time for a holiday or a business trip away. By combining my previous working experience with my love of caring for animals, I can provide a full service to set your mind at ease that your pets and your house are being looked after in your absence.

Insured & Vetted

I am vetted by the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) and am fully insured to provide pet sitting services. I am also fully compliant with GDPR (data protection).

Clear and Simple

I pride myself in having a clear and transparent service so that you know what you are getting for your money.  The services are based on a ‘per-visit’ basis rather than a ‘per-animal’ basis. I feel it is important that there are no surprises about what it will cost.

Trained & Qualified

I have many years’ of experience looking after cats and other small animals. In order to further my education I have also undertaken and passed the Petsitting Diploma. (The course appears to have transferred from the original provider to New Skills Academy – I actually took the course in September 2015 but the reference number has been carried over).

The Personal Touch

Some other pet-sitting services are large enterprises. Which can mean that the person who you met is not the person who looks after your pet. I strongly believe in this personal approach when you are trusting the security of your home and pets with me. Therefore at Fluffies, it will be me who you will meet and who looks after your pets.
